Studio RED’s renovations have received awards from organizations like the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance for the firm’s outstanding historical renovation/restoration design.
Most recently awarded was the firm’s renovation of a 1920’s old rice warehouse to the new City of Houston Green Resource and Central Permitting Center. The renovation saved valuable taxpayer dollars and boasts Eco-friendly designs that are now tracking LEED Gold.
Studio RED also recently celebrated the grand re-opening of the Houston Baptist University Brown Building, which the firm was selected to rehabilitate and revitalize after it sustained damage from Hurricane Ike in 2008.
“This is one of those rare circumstances in business where you can honestly say without reservation that a firm performed in an exemplary manner. The way they stepped in and navigated all the complexities of doing this renovation. Their vision to restore some of the original John Staub features, but also make it work better. How they understood the budget, what we were trying to accomplish and didn’t just design for an award.”
