Newland Communities is currently developing a master planned community in Katy, Texas and selected StudioRED to design the amenities building for the first phase. The project is comprised of a café witha full service kitchen, fitness facility, pool, playgrounds, an event lawn, meeting space, game room, and support office space. The design of the complex draws inspiration from prairie style architecture and incorporates traditional Texas elements to fulfill the client’s branding needs. The facility will serve thesurrounding homes as a gathering and activity space. In addition, the building’s iconic architecture willserve a marketing tool for the sale of new homes. Studio RED is working in coordination with SWA on this project.
