Brookfield Properties is currently developing a master-planned community in Katy, Texas, and selected Studio RED to design this amenities building for the first phase. The project comprises a café with a full-service kitchen, a fitness facility, a pool, playgrounds, an event lawn, meeting space, a game room, and support office space. The design of the complex draws inspiration from Prairie-style architecture and incorporates traditional Texas elements to fulfill the client’s branding needs. The facility serves the surrounding homes as a gathering and activity space, and the building’s iconic architecture also serves as a marketing tool for the sale of new homes. Studio RED is working in coordination with SWA on this project.
