Studio RED Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of Katy Garvey, AIA, and Timothy Kim, MTA, ACIT, to Senior Associate.
Katy Garvey joined Studio RED in 2023 and brings a background in residential design with a focus on high-performance homes. She leads multiple complex projects, including Woodlands Church East River Campus and The Monarch Community, applying her expertise to resolve code and constructability challenges. Katy is also an integral part of planning and hosting office social events, which contribute to Studio RED’s unique culture.
Timothy Kim joined Studio RED in 2018 and has made significant contributions to the firm through his leadership of technology resources, human resources, and accounting operations. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Tim relocated to the United States in 2015. He is a valued contributor to the firm’s culture, balancing day-to-day operational responsibilities with active participation in organizing and supporting office social events.
