RPC Missouri City Recently Completed

MISSOURI CITY, TEXAS — RPC Missouri City recently completed their new Missouri City campus, designed by Studio RED and built by Arch-Con Corporation. The campus prioritizes hospitality through several community-focused spaces including a cafe, engaging children’s area and outdoor event lawn. The new construction, 42,000-sf building houses adult, youth, and children worship services for an estimated 1000-person congregation. From newborn to teenager, the Children and Youth ministries have unique spaces, designed to engage each age group.

Partner Jared Wood notes that, “We love working with River Pointe Church and are passionate about their mission to reach Southwest Houston in a relational way.” The firm has a history of partnering with River Pointe Church, and previously designed their Student Center, Children’s Building, fellowship plaza and renovations to special needs buildings, located on the Main Campus. Studio RED is committed to supporting River Pointe Church’s mission through expanding their infrastructure.

According to the Fort Bend Economic Development Council, Fort Bend County has grown 31% between 2010 and 2017, compared to a national average of 4% growth. This population explosion is driving a need for support spaces, like churches, and River Pointe Church is meeting that need. Located in Missouri City, the satellite campus of River Pointe Church was using Elkins High School as a temporary gathering location. Continued growth and support of the church members allowed the church to secure a site and develop a new campus.
